UDON Entertainment Announces ‘The History of Sonic the Hedgehog’ for September

Toronto-based publisher UDON Entertainment has announced that they will be bringing The History of Sonic the Hedgehog, a 300-page hardcover chronology by France’s Pix’n Love Publishing (in a partnership with SEGA of Japan), to stores across North America in September 2012.

The History of Sonic the Hedgehog explores the long 20-year journey of SEGA’s speedy mascot through both the height of 2D gaming and his transition to three dimensions. In addition to all of the mainline Sonic games, the book will also cover all of his crossovers, spin-offs, and even his cameo appearances. The history is rounded out with character profiles, promotional art, package covers, and even concept art.
