Microsoft Drops Price of Kinect for Xbox 360

On Wednesday, Microsoft’s “Major Nelson” Larry Hryb announced that the company would be permanently dropping the price of Kinect, its controller-free motion-sensing peripheral for the Xbox 360. Once priced at $149.99, the new price is now $109.99.

Though his website only states that this price is now in effect in the U.S., a check with EB Games Canada reveals that they too have slashed the price.
