New Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Screens Show Off Amy, Shadow, & Shinobi, Plus More Details
Via TSSZ News, the official Xbox website recently updated their product page for the upcoming Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed with new screens and details, including the confirmation of playable Avatars with their own exclusive vehicle (while Miis will be in the Nintendo versions), four-player local multiplayer, and eight-player online multiplayer (though some reports have stated ten for online), as well as downloadable content, leaderboards, and voice chat.
In additional news, the recently-released 282nd volume of Nintendo Power has revealed that Gum will be joining fellow Jet Set Radio star Beat as a racer in the game. However, much like Danica Patrick, there are no pictures of her at this time.
At the top of the article, we get a clear look at the ground-based version of the vehicle driven by Shinobi‘s Joe Musashi, plus some interesting use of onomatopoeias during the race.
Here’s a close-up look at some of the other newly-released screens:
They may look like balloons from this angle, but Amy Rose’s ride seems to be sporting some cool VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) gear when she takes to the air.
Shadow the Hedgehog’s experimental G.U.N. (Guardian Unit of Nations) vehicle looks pretty sleek when it converts to jet mode.
We’ve had glimpses of Golden Axe star Gilius Thunderhead (sorry, Tyris Flare– there’s a new Beast Rider in town) and his vehicle before, but they aren’t usually very clear. Here, we get a better look at his aquatic mount, a large turtle.
And to wrap up, another look at Joe Musashi’s quad-bike.
