Play Games and Heal Kids with SickKids Foundation & Children’s Miracle Network in October

If you spend very much time looking at video game websites on the internet, then you’ve probably come across one marathon or another where players are using their skills to help raise money for a good cause. And if you’ve ever wanted to do something similar but have no idea where to start, then read on.

On October 20th, 2012, the SickKids Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network are holding the Extra Life video game marathon to help kids get treated at SickKids. To participate, just follow these three simple steps:

  1. Go to to register and create your own personal fundraising page.
  2. Get four friends, family members, or colleagues to sponsor you at $1 per hour ($24 per person)
  3. Beginning at 8am on October 20th, play video games for 24 hours straight.
