The Nintendo Download – 11/15/12

This week’s Nintendo Download kicks off with a reminder that you can purchase Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion at both retail stores and in the Nintendo eShop this Sunday, November 18th.

Available now, however (and perhaps a little late) is Hotel Transylvania… which is apparently only available at retail. I’m not even sure why this was listed; they don’t mention a trailer or demo or anything, but there you go. Actually, the press release says it’s “also available at retail stores,” so maybe they just added it to the eShop?

Monster Shooter is a $6.99 top-down shooting game now available in the Nintendo eShop. The blurb in the link says it’s “The new dual-stick mayhem sensation,” so it sounds like Smash TV, and maybe it’s compatible with the Circle Pad Pro? Otherwise, I have no idea how it could be “dual-stick.”

Celebrate Thanksgiving– well, American Thanksgiving on November 16th with the newest episode of Dinosaur Office (Rarr!) on Nintendo Video. In this “heartwarming” special episode, “when Craig is faced with spending Thanksgiving alone, he discovers the true spirit of the holidays.”

The classic Myst, apparently also a retail title, is now available in the Nintendo eShop. For those familiar with the original, this version has new 3D artwork and a new “Age.”

In American Mensa Academy, another retail title added to the Nintendo eShop, you can take on over 100 puzzles spread across five categories as you challenge your intellect.

Nintendo DSiWare shares in the fun with Jump Trials, which features over 100 10-second trials of running and jumping action. It’s just $1.99 in the Nintendo eShop, or 200 DSi Points on Nintendo DSiWare.

Working Dawgs: A-Maze-ing Pipes is a new pipe puzzle game with tools, touch controls, and over 80 levels, all for $1.99 in the Nintendo eShop or 200 DSi Points on Nintendo DSiWare.

That’s it for this week; to find more screens, videos, and information on each of this week’s releases, click each of the relevant links above.
