Xbox Live Marketplace Update for 11/7/12

This week, we have some interesting additions to Xbox Live Arcade to lead things off. The first is Karateka, an 800 Microsoft Point side-scrolling karate game from the creator of Prince of Persia.

Meanwhile, things are getting funkalicious with the SEGA Vintage Collection release of ToeJam & Earl. Rather than the individual releases seen on yesterday’s PlayStation Store update, both ToeJam & Earl and its sequel, Panic on Funkotron, come together in one download for 800 MS Points.

New demos abound for upcoming retail titles, with Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two and F1 RACE STARS. Both are free to download and available to Gold members now, with regular shlubs (of which I am one, so don’t get the wrong idea) getting them next week.

New game add-ons this week consist of the “War Games Map Pass Season One” for Halo 4, yours for 2000 MS Points, and “Deck Pack 1” for Magic 2013, which is only 240 MS Points.

Until November 12th, the Gold Deals of the Week are Guardian Heroes, Joy Ride Turbo, Shoot Many Robots, and All Zombies Must Die, each half-off at 400 MS Points. The regular sales and specials also feature UFC Personal Trainer Jon Jones Workout for Kinect at the same price/markdown.

Joining Games on Demand are Devil May Cry Collection, Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, and Persona 4 Arena.

And finally, the newest Avatar updates feature new products for Halo 4, Epic Mickey: The Power of Two, and Umbro. On a side note, it took me a while to find the Wreck-It Ralph stuff from last week; last I saw, it was mistakenly placed under Pixar, so if you’ve been looking without luck, try there.
