Ubisoft Toronto Taking on Five New Projects, Including New Assassin’s Creed

ubisofttorontoA report from IGN states that Ubisoft Toronto is looking to expand after they finish up Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and will be taking on five new projects. Among those is their part in a collaboration on a new Assassin’s Creed title, though it won’t be Black Flag, as they’re currently working on shipping Blacklist for its August 20th release. Instead, it will be a subsequent installment.

“One of the franchises that’s very near and dear to me, Assassin’s Creed, is one of the ones we’re going to be collaborating on in Toronto,” said Ubisoft Toronto managing director Jade Raymond, “as well as one other big franchise which we’re not going to announce yet. But we’re going to be doing two other big collaborations also with Montreal.”
