Toronto-Based DrinkBox Studios Releases Guacamelee! on PlayStation 3 & Vita

I meant to get this one up yesterday, but in any case: If you’re interested in supporting the efforts of independent game developers from Canada, then you might be interested to know that the Toronto-based DrinkBox Studios has just released their newest title, Guacamelee! However, if you don’t own a PlayStation 3 or a PlayStation Vita, then your interest may wane a bit, as the game is exclusive to those two platforms.

This Metroidvania-styled game is available as a Cross-Buy for both platforms at a price of $14.99, and features same-screen multiplayer, a melee combat style (as the name suggests), and even a dimension-hopping mechanic. As you can see in the trailer above, it’s been receiving rave reviews.
