The Nintendo Download – 10/4/13

I’m running behind today, so let’s make this one quick.

Just Dance 2014 – Available October 8th, the latest in the series brings 40 new songs to the mix, and allows you to play with others online or dictate the moves to local players using the Wii U GamePad.

Final Fight Promo – Purchase any of the three Super Nintendo Entertainment System Final Fight games for $7.99 on the Wii U Virtual Console, and you can then get 50 percent off of any of the three Super NES Street Fighter II games on the Wii U Virtual Console.

Until 9am PST on October 9th, you can get Little Inferno for 50 percent off in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U.

TNT Racers – Nitro Machines Edition – A racing game for up to four players which contains a “Shadow Race” feature which allows players to stay in the race even if they’re being outdriven. New to Nitro Machines Edition are new cars, additional tracks, compelling challenges, and game modes.

Family Bowling 3D – Up to four players can participate in this family-friendly bowling game which features three modes: Main Mode, where you’ll battle your fellow family members; Free Play, where you can play as you like with one to four players; and Challenge Mode, where you can take on difficult challenges.

Halloween: Trick or Treat 2 – A hidden object game with some mini-games spread across scenes such as a shopping mall, witch’s house, Halloween fairground, pirate ship, and more.

Happy Circus – An edutainment title consisting of four games in which you must help Pierre and Julie find all of the circus animals’ accessories.

PICROSS e3 – The latest in the PICROSS e series, this title features a new type of mode called “Mega Picross,” which features “Mega Numbers” numbers that span two rows. “It can be difficult to determine where to fill Mega Numbers, so a different kind of logic from the normal Picross may be necessary.”

Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure – Originally released at retail in July 2012, this SEGA title follows Raphael as he goes throughout Paris, stealing famous works of art only to return them days later. Tap, swipe, and move the gyro to the beat to overcome rhythm-based challenges as Raphael works to uncover the clues hidden behind these treasures and solve the mystery of the city– and himself. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure features stylish animation, modes for single and multiplayer, and StreetPass functionality.

Witch & Hero – Demo Version – Originally released in the Nintendo eShop in April 2013, this game now has a free downloadable demo version to allow you to experience this retro-styled game’s unique gameplay.

Jewel Quest 5 – The Sleepless Star – Available on both Nintendo DSiWare and the Nintendo 3DS eShop, you’ll join intrepid explorer Percy Pack and the beautiful Algonquin named Yellow Feather on a quest spanning two continents for the eponymous jewel known as the Sleepless Star, which has been stolen from its native village.

And that’s everything this week. As always, click the corresponding links above for more information, screens, and videos for each title.
