The Nintendo Download – 1/9/2014

Photo Finding with Chibi-Robo, Gradius on Wii U, and more!

This week’s Nintendo Download is short, but sweet, so let’s get right down to… er, “eet”.

Chibi-Robo: Photo Finder – Headlining this week’s releases is the diminutive hero, Chibi-Robo, who is back in a new adventure which takes advantage of the Nintendo 3DS system’s AR camera capabilities. Earn Happy Points by cleaning up and meeting new people, then use those points to purchase special film for photographing real-world objects to be the best robot helper you can be! It’s a real-world scavenger hunt!

In addition to the full version, there is also a free demo available in the Nintendo eShop.

Gradius – The classic space-faring shooter from Konami is now available on the Wii U’s Virtual Console. Take control of the advanced starfighter Vic Viper to defend the planet Gradius from the oncoming Bacterion invasion! You’ll have to travel through seven stages of alien forces, power-ups, and strange Moai heads to reach the enemy fortress of Xaerous and put a stop to the galactic threat.

Cocoto Magic Circus 2 – Up to five different players can team up at once on one of three different game modes to knock out Cocoto’s enemies and save his friends!

Jump Trials Supreme – Demo Version – This game challenges you to run and jump to reach the end of an obstacle course in ten seconds, but are you up to the challenge? Thanks to this free demo, you can find out for yourself if you’ve got what it takes to venture down this path of 100 levels.

On Sale This Week – From January 13th to 20th, you can save more than 30 percent each on Code of Princess, Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan (pictured), and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.
