A View of Super Smash Club in Toronto

C’mon and Smash, and welcome to the bash!

On Saturday, October 18th, Nintendo of Canada played host to the first of their Super Smash Club events in Toronto, Ontario (with another running concurrently in London and Vancouver, British Columbia). As you might expect, we did not allow the opportunity to attend pass us by as we delved into the sea of Super Smash Bros. fans who were lining up, their Nintendo 3DSes in tow.

You can check out the highlights of the event in the video below.

In addition, I had a chance to speak with Nintendo of Canada’s Matt Ryan about the event and its turnout, as well as trying to press for them to release a Canadian-themed exclusive Mario amiibo:

Finally, here are some pictures from the event, courtesy of Nintendo of Canada:

You can find more photos in their Facebook album.

Have you had the chance to play Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS yet? If not, you might like to check out my review, and you can even see it at one of the upcoming Super Smash Club events, of which you can find if there is one near your location here.
