The Nintendo Download – 1/1/2015

Pinball with Pokémon and Commandos who are Bionic.

The first Nintendo Download of the new year is a very, very small week for new releases. Fortunately, they’re good releases. Plus, this gives us more time to focus on everything else we have to play.

Bionic Commando: Elite Forces for Nintendo 3DS – Ever wonder what it would be like if Nintendo made a Bionic Commando game? Well wonder no more, because the Game Boy Color title Bionic Commando: Elite Forces is now on the eShop! Choose from a male or female Bionic Commando and lay siege to over 20 levels of forests, deserts, mountains, and futuristic cities.

Hmm, I wonder if this would be enough to get Bionic Commando some representation in Super Smash Bros. someday. Then again, I’m still wondering if we’ll ever see the NES Bionic Commando in the eShop…

WiiU_PokemonPinballRubySapphire_04

Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire for Wii U – Hit the table and catch more than 200 Pokémon from the Ruby and Sapphire versions of the game– pretty good timing, considering Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games just came out. Other characters from those games join in the fun as well; can you catch ’em all?
