The Nintendo Download – 9/3/2015

Bang! Bang!

This week’s Nintendo Download is short, but it has three pretty sweet entries headlining the Wii U portion of the Nintendo eShop.

Gunman Clive HD Collection for Wii U – If you like the idea of Mega Man-styled platforming action but in a fantastic Wild West setting, then Gunman Clive is your man. Both games are brought together on the Wii U eShop in high definition for the low, low price of $3.99 USD, and they’re worth every penny. Check out the trailer here.

VS. Excitebike for Wii U – So, this release doesn’t herald the age of Nintendo’s arcade classics finally, truly coming home as I’d hoped. Still, this version allows for split-screen racing, which the original lacked, and course creation — which was just lacking before due to the inability to save.

Mario Golf for Wii U – Fore! Mario hits the links in the first golf game to bear his name in the title, bringing with it some of the zany Mushroom Kingdom shenanigans you might expect.

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? for Nintendo 3DS – As only he can, comedian Jeff Foxworthy pits adults versus children in a quest to see who has acquired — or at least retained — more knowledge over the course of their varied lifespans in this adaptation of the game show.

Proun+ – Demo Version for Nintendo 3DS – Not sure if you’re ready for a voyage through the world of modern art? Find out before you pay out with this free demo.
