The Nintendo Download – 12/3/2015

A whole new world, and what do you get when you cross Pokémon with Picross?

It’s here! It’s finally here!

Xenoblade Chronicles X for Wii U – With Earth in ruin, mankind has taken to the stars and discovered a new home. Not all is well, however, as it was a rough landing — you don’t know the lay of the land or what awaits throughout this new world, and worse, there are survivors in stasis who need help if they’re to make it back to New Los Angeles and help restart human civilization.

I’ve been working at this one for a while now, and while I hoped to be ready for a pre-launch review, I’m not quite there yet — it’s just that damn immense (and I’ve been playing other titles alongside it). Without giving away too much, I’ll just say that it’s really good, but there are caveats to that.

Trauma Team for Wii U – As you assume the role of six different medical professionals, you’ll need a steady hand with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers as you decide on the best course of action and make quick decisions to keep your patient’s vitals in stable condition.

Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS – Up to four players can join forces with their favorite Kung Fu Panda characters including Po, Tigress, Monkey, Tai Lung, and Master Shifu as they compete in familiar locales for honor, glory, and to be recognized as the mightiest warrior in all the land.

Pokémon Picross for Nintendo 3DS – 300 puzzles await as this free-to-start game hits the Nintendo 3DS eShop and you chip away to reveal the image of a Pokémon, allowing you to collect it. With their help, you can solve more fiendish puzzles that lie ahead.

Dementium Remastered for Nintendo 3DS – To take full advantage of what the Nintendo 3DS has to offer, this first-person survival horror game has been rebuilt from the ground up with enhanced graphics, high-quality audio, refined game play, and control options to make the experience more immersive.

Fantasy Pirates – Demo Version for Nintendo 3DS – Not sure whether a pirate’s life is for you? Try before you buy with this demo!

The Mysterious Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde for Nintendo DSiWare – A mystery spanning 30 locations in 1886 London tells of the murder of an upstanding and affluent citizen during the night, leaving the question of why. Perhaps your friend, the forensic expert Dr. Jekyll, can aid you in solving this case.
