The Nintendo Download – 3/3/2016

Twilight’s HD gleaming.

Man, what a day — and this update is coming in a bit late. Fortunately, there isn’t too much here — but some good stuff nonetheless!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U – Available March 4th (perhaps even as you’re reading this): As a strange darkness falls over Hyrule, Link must join with Midna to embrace the powers of the beast within and free the land from the spell cast by the Twilight Realm.

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures for Wii U – Pac-Man is on a mission — several, actually, and needs your help to guide him not with a controller, but with a slingshot as you draw his attention to all sorts of things in an interactive world.

Chasing Dead for Wii U – Another Earth has appeared in the sky, and contact with the agents sent to investigate has been lost. As a special Marine, your job is to fight off hordes of zombies on the other world as you search for clues and information left over from the initial crew.

Steel Rivals for Wii U – Face off against another player or the computer in this tournament fighting game, or take on survival mode and see how long you can last as you unlock new outfits and stages all the while.

Parascientific Escape Cruise in the Distant Seas for Nintendo 3DS – Using her secret psychic powers, 16-year old Hitomi Akeneno must seek answers to the explosion on the luxury cruise ship she was invited to.

The Hand of Panda for Nintendo 3DS – As Panda, develop mastery of “The Hand” technique that allows you to smash anything that lies in your way through this memory and reflex game.

Also, not listed as a part of the Nintendo Download (but revealed as part of the latest Nintendo Direct) are the following three Super Nintendo Entertainment System titles which are now available exclusively on New Nintendo 3DS’s Virtual Console through the Nintendo eShop:

Super Mario World for Nintendo 3DS – After the events of Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario, Luigi, and Peach go on vacation to Dinosaur Land. While there, though, Peach goes missing and the Bros. discover that the Koopas have been kidnapping and imprisoning the resident Yoshis in eggs! Help them bring peace back to Dinosaur Land in this Super NES launch title.

Pilotwings for Nintendo 3DS – Master your training in the arts of hang gliding, piloting a plane, skydiving, and controlling a rocket belt before taking on the ultimate test of your abilities in this Super NES launch title.

F-Zero for Nintendo 3DS – The year is 2560, and following mankind’s expansion to the stars and advancements in technology, “F-Zero” races featuring futuristic hovercars have become all the rage. Take on the role of either Captain Falcon, Dr. Stewart, Pico, or Samurai Goroh as they race for the checkered flag in the Super NES launch title!
