Forza Motorsport 6 Takes Stock in NASCAR Racing
Pit American stock cars against the best in the world.
Today marks the release of a new set of downloadable content for Forza Motorsport 6 as the new NASCAR Expansion pack can be yours for $20.
More than ten hours of new “what if” scenario racing is featured as 24 NASCAR models from the 2016 season will be able to compete with the likes of WEC prototypes at Le Mans or Australian V8s at Bathurst. Included among that two dozen are teams like Chip Ganassi Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Stewart-Haas Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Team Penske, including the cars driven by Kurt Busch, Chase Elliott, and Jimmie Johnson, who also star in the “Voices of Motorsport” for the expansion, bringing the history and technology of NASCAR to Forza Motorsport 6.
Joining these new additions is a new career mode and a new destination, the Homestead-Miami Speedway, which is available in all modes of play. New NASCAR-themed Rivals, Leagues, and multiplayer hoppers are also part of the package, with additional new features such as rolling starts, a Quick Stop mode, and a more complex drafting model included as well.
“The NASCAR Expansion highlights the power and passion of both Forza Motorsport and NASCAR,” said Turn 10 Studios creative director Dan Greenawalt. “With the addition of the NASCAR Expansion, Forza 6 now offers more than 600 Forzavista™ cars to collect, customize, and race. Players will be able to compete on tracks from around the world and across a huge variety of international motorsport disciplines. Bringing these kinds of automotive fantasies to life is what Forza Motorsport is all about.”
