Following the big announcement of the Nintendo Switch just over a week ago, Nintendo of Canada has released some additional details about the lone Canadian preview event for their latest creation in Toronto.
If you missed it before, the event takes place on Sunday, January 29th in Hall A of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, which is located at 255 Front Street West. Lineup begins at 7am EST (they ask that you don’t arrive before that, as lines won’t be forming yet), and wristbands will begin to be distributed at 8am. From that point, there will be three different two-hour sessions over the course of the day: 10am to 12pm, 1pm to 3pm, and finally 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
With that said, space is going to be very limited, with wristbands being provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. As such, they highly recommend an early arrival (but not too early, I guess, but people are probably going to line up somewhere before 7am). Also be aware that minors — that’s anyone age 17 or under — must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, so if that’s you, make sure they bring lots of coffee and are where they need to be when it’s showtime.
And that’s pretty much it! If you want more details about the Nintendo Switch, click the link to my previous story above or head to www.nintendo.com/en_CA/switch!
