All About Mario’s Hat

About Mario’s Hat

Welcome, everyone, to Mario’s Hat, your source for gaming news from the north! And don’t be fooled by the name; we’re about more than just Mario or Nintendo here (though you can count on seeing plenty of that).

So, why “Mario’s Hat,” then? Well, this is a site focusing on video game news and stories from and affecting Canada, and as you may have heard, this fine nation is often referred to as “America’s Hat.” Translate that into video games, and ask yourself: What hat is more famous in the gaming world than Mario’s?

Some might feel that the “hat” thing is derogatory, but we don’t think so; in fact, we plan to “take it back,” in a manner of speaking. After all, what sets a person apart or makes them more memorable than a fine, distinguishing hat? You may not remember a person’s name or their face, but if their hat makes the right impression, you’ll know them when you see them.

With that said, I hope you’ll stay a while, and be sure to check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. You can also follow me on my personal Twitter account here, and if you have any tips on Canadian goings-on with video games, be sure to drop me a line! For other matters, you can reach me at david.oxford @ nyteworks.net (minus the spaces).

And be sure to spread the word!
