Finally, we have bundles… EA Sports bundles, to be precise. FIFA Soccer 13 Bonus Edition, Madden NFL 13 Bonus Edition, and NCAA Football 13 Bonus Edition are each available for $49.99, while Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Bonus Edition commands a premium at $59.99. Each comes with its own bonuses, so check the details below for more information on these, and all the other PlayStation Store releases this week.
It’s PlayStation Day here at Mario’s Hat (just let the irony of that one sink in… finished? Good)! And kicking things off is a look at the latest update in the PlayStation Store.
New to the PlayStation 3 are Full Games of Medal of Honor: Warfighter and The Darkness II. In addition, PS3 owners get to start playing catch-up with their PlayStation Vita brethren with the beta version of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a free download which lasts until October 30th. In addition, the PlayStation Network has a single-player only Starhawk experience, Killzone HD, and The Unfinished Swan.
Though four new Full Games have been released this week for the PlayStation 3, it seems that the PlayStation Vita is where most of the action is at. New to the PlayStation Store for gamers on the go are Silent Hill: Book of Memories and the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale PS Vita Beta, which is free to try for all PlayStation Vita owners and features “Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess in both the Metropolis and Hades stages.” One other title, Dokuro, is also available now, but only in the U.S.
On the PlayStation 3, it’s shooting fun in the first-person as 007 Legends and DOOM 3 BFG Edition are both available. Two new game shows are also ready for family fun in the form of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Then we have the PlayStation Network-exclusive titles, including the role playing game Of Orcs and Men and the oldschool-styled Arkedo Series. PS2 Classics has been updated with The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, while PSone Classics on the PlayStation Vita store has added Front Mission 3.
For more details on this and everything else that’s happening in the PlayStation Store this week, read on.
In addition to the usual gaggle of goodies for games you’ve already gotten, this week’s PlayStation Store Update has quite a few new games in store, too.
The big release for the PlayStation 3’s Full Games is Dishonored, which finds itself joined by Birds of Steel, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, and perhaps best of all, the Devil May Cry HD Collection, which updates the first three games of the series to glorious high definition in one $29.99 package. That’s like getting each game for $10… which is actually sort of average, isn’t it?
In addition to three ways to pre-order Assassin’s Creed III, today’s PlayStation Store update brings full-games for the PlayStation 3 of NBA 2K13, Resident Evil 6, and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. Meanwhile, PlayStation Vita gets New Little King’s Story for download.
Also on PSN are a one-two punch from SEGA as Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS Into Dreams are both now available in high-definition. PS2 Classics added are Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon Special Edition and Ruff Trigger: The Vanocore Conspiracy, and all four of these are $9.99 each.
And if that wasn’t enough, PlayStation Vita owners have a whopping 40 new PSOne Classics available on the Vita Store. To find out which, as well as everything else available today, just read on.
This week, Sony looks to the future by taking pre-orders for Dishonored, DOOM 3 BFG Edition, NBA 2K13, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Each pre-order knocks about four to six dollars off the regular price and comes with an exclusive theme.
In the here and now, new full PlayStation 3 game releases include Dead or Alive 5, Starhawk, FIFA Soccer 13, and Mirror’s Edge, plus bundles for inFamous and Ratchet & Clank. And these are just the tip of the iceberg; read on for PSN titles, PS2 Classics, and PSone Classics as well, plus so much more.
This week’s PlayStation Store update includes the release of Borderlands 2 in the full PlayStation 3 game downloads, a free demo of Resident Evil 6 (more details here, and the return of SEGA’s Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio on the PlayStation Network. In addition, if you know someone addicted to Farmville, you might consider introducing them to the series it was based on with Harvest Moon: It’s a Wonderful Life Special Edition, which is now added to the PS2 Classics.
There are also numerous new additions to the PSOne Classics for PlayStation Vita, some price changes on certain products, a ton of Rock Band deals for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and much, much more. Read on to find out all about it.
This week’s update to the PlayStation Store has a few big names, including a downloadable version of Crysis 2 – Maximum Edition with its add-ons for $29.99.
New PlayStation Network games feature a couple of names Wii owners may be familiar with as well. Specifically, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and its sequel, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. Each are $14.99, and are a great way to experience the characters, settings, and story of the Resident Evil series through a light gun-styled shooter with the PlayStation Move controller. Ideal if you like all of that stuff, but are not a big fan of the series’ traditional gameplay.
All this is available, and much, much more. Keep reading for the full update.
